sixtydockroad is a club in the Docklands area of London. I created a brand identity to help link the building’s structure to its audience. The identity fuses brutalist structure with the vibrancy of electronic music. The venue's intimate, low-ceiling spaces counterbalance the cold concrete, igniting the energy of electronic beats and radiant lighting. The typography draws from brutalism and the venue's beer factory history, whilst the core of the identity comes from a series of treated images that have been scanned and treated. The whole brand of sixty is repurposing, and this is shown through the venue itself, in its imagery, the way-finding system from West Silvertown station and the unused images from the identity being turned into motion for VJ loops.

This project was the winner of the public vote in the Visual Communication category at the ArtsThread x Gucci Global Design Graduate Show 2023.
