I worked with Vasco Mata on his first directed film 'Behind the Beaded Curtain’. The film explores the theme of sex work and the untold stories from workers. Vasco wanted the type to feel minimal yet beautiful, I did this through modifying the curves of a pre existing typeface, extenuating the curves. I art directed the branding and titles of the film, creating a set of guidelines to be used through all promotion. Vasco wanted the cinematography to do the talking so I spent time retouching and creating a treatment process for imagery.
